The idea was for Fresh Step to sponsor a new app for cat lovers on the go. The pet services market majorly caters to dogs and although it might seem obvious that one could find cat services in the same places, it's not always the case. Many groomers and kennels do not work with cats, making it difficult and tedious to track down an appropriate option. The Catventures app serves as a tool to help the pet parent track their cat's individual medical needs, find cat-friendly places in their area and share stories with their friends on social media. Users can also look up articles and "How To" pages on fun ways to safely introduce their cats to the outside world. They can also save all information for future use.
This section allows parents to make a profile for each cat. When they click on the cat's name, an overlay appears with an editable mini-bio. This is also where they can access bookmarked content from the search pages.
the social media section can access a users facebook, instagram and twitter accounts. The user may upload a photo or take the picture in the app and then choose which platform to post it to. When chosen, an overlay pops up with editable fields and a preview of the photo that can be reviewed before uploading.
